Steve Rossiter, ABAi Certified Aircraft Broker
Steve has been professionally involved in aviation since 1966. He is a 9,500 hour pilot holding an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and Certified Instrument Flight Instructor Certificate in both airplanes and helicopters. He is typed rated in the Cessna Citation 500 series, the Grumman S-2, and the Bell 47 and 206. He has owned several aircraft including a Staggerwing Beech. For several years he owned and operated an airplane and helicopter flight school (Part 61), air-taxi business (Part 135),a helicopter external load operation (Part 133), and agricultural operation (Part 137). His strong aviation background is ideally suited for appraising aircraft and assisting both buyers and sellers of all kinds of aircraft.
Steve is an NAAA Senior Certified Aircraft Appraiser and is also a USPAP endorsed appraiser.
Steve is an active member of the National Aircraft Appraisers Association (NAAA), Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), Seaplane Pilots Association (SPA), Helicopter Association International (HAI), Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association (VHPA), Montana Pilots Association (MPA), International Bird Dog Association (IBDA), National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI), and EAA Chapter 517, Inc. In his spare time, Steve is currently building a Zenith CH750 Light Sport Airplane.
Sherry Rossiter, ABAi Certified Aircraft Broker
In the 30 years that Sherry Knight Rossiter has been involved in aviation, she has held many different job titles - commercial pilot, flight instructor, chief ground instructor, AOPA Weekend Ground School Instructor, Part 135 director of operations, aviation business owner, aviation journalist, adjunct faculty for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, U.S. Army helicopter pilot, and now an active aircraft broker. Sherry has personally owned two Cessna 150's, a Cessna 172, and a Cessna 195.
Sherry holds Airline Transport Pilot and Flight Instructor Certificates for both airplanes and helicopters. She is also an FAA Certificated Basic, Advanced, and Instrument Ground Instructor and a former FAA Designated Written Text Examiner. For many years she conducted FAA-approved Flight Instructor Recertification Courses (FIRCs) nationwide under the name Progressive Pilot Seminars.
Sherry is an active member of Whirly-Girls International, Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI), and Montana Pilots Association (MPA). She currently resides in Missoula, Montana, where she is the President of EAA Chapter 517
